June Covington
June Covington is a highly skilled artist and art educator specializing in weaving and printmaking. She has studied under renowned artists such as Josephine Mahaffey, Rudy Medlock, and Edward Knippers, drawing inspiration from Sheila Hicks and Anni Albers. With a BA in Art Education and an MA in Humanities, June has over 13 years of experience teaching art and art history at Oil & Cotton. Currently serving as the Textile Arts Coordinator at Oil and Cotton Creative Exchange in Dallas, June also operates a teaching studio. She resides in Cedar Hill and is dedicated to her professional pursuits.
